Quem quaerimus adiutorem nisi te, Domine,
qui pro peccatis nostris iuste irasceris?
Sancte Deus, Sancte fortis,
Sancte et misericors Salvator,
amarae morti ne tradas nos.

Nunc dimittis servum tuum Domine:
secundum verbum tuum in pace.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, he studied composition at the New England Conservatory and Harvard University.
