lyrics

Last night at two A.M. I sat out on the terrace watching the moon on the sea. And I was thinking that it is a standing joke to say that nowadays people do not care about the moon anymore, since every city street has so many and many moons in a row. Yes, many; but one street lamp makes a sphere of light of around twenty paces; with this moon, on the other hand, while I was watching it this night on the sea, Marta could see it from her window over the trees of the park in Salsomaggiore. And I could picture you at the window of your little bedroom … But you, certainly, at 2 A.M. of this night, must have been asleep in your bed.
